Qualified Domestic Relations Order – (QDRO)

A QDRO is a judgment, decree or order for a retirement plan to pay benefits to the spouse, ex-spouse, or other dependent of a participant. The QDRO must contain certain specific information, be signed by all parties, and filed in court.
